Welcome to IWD-SEATTLE!

A heartfelt Congratulations to all those who entered the “Girls Got Game!”, Arts and Essay Contest. We are inspired by the talent, creativity, and youthful idealism of these wonderful young people in our communities. A special thanks to Wyn Pottinger-Levy for her added enthusiasm and contribution, by getting her students, (Center School), active & involved!

Many thanks to our judges- Marita Holdaway of the Benham Gallery, Cindy Domingo, Conyne Brewer, Donna Brophy, and Crystal Slinger- who had a great time going over all the submissions!

A special thanks to our hard working, prize collector, Susan Friedrich, without which, we wouldn’t have much to offer the winners! And to Michelle Esquerra, who has put up with all our requests and took in the art submissions with a smile! Also, for her special assistance with prizes, many thanks to Cindi Rinehart!

Also, we must thank our donors for their generous contributions to the contest and their commitment to the our children!  We hope you and the kids have fun!

It was truly a joy to participate in this new IWD endeavor.  Next year, we’ll be back!  Thank you everyone.... We appreciate your hard work.
