Felicity’s Bowling Problems

Once there was a ten year old girl who was a horrible bowler.  Her name was Felicity. Felicity always wanted to be a professional bowler. But she never got scores.  Felicity wanted to get higher scores, but she couldn’t. Felicity felt left out. 

Her friends always made fun of her.  One time, she became so furious that she just wanted to punch them.  Felicity wanted to know if she shouldn’t be friends or should become a better bowler.

She went to her great grandma’s house for advice.  Her great grandma said to practice all the time. So she did.  Then when she was 30, she became a professional bowler.

Girls got game, yes we do! Girls got game, how ‘bout you?

Kristi Yamaguchi
12 July, 1971 a tiny girl was born,
In Hayward, California at 7 in the morn.
At the age of 4 she was still very frail,
When ballet she could barely hold the rail.
She still wasn’t into sports at the age of six,
Her parents said, “this is something we have to fix.”
So they got her a coach who’s name was Christy Ness,
And they told her, “we want you to make her the best.”
With the help of her grandfathers and her coach,
Kristi became more confident with things she was to approach.
She got on the ice but had a little trouble,
Her coach said to her, “you will get better on the double.”
They practiced their hardest and Kristi got better,
She was so happy, she sent her grandfathers a letter.
Part of her success was her supporting cast,
They say, “Kristi now can skate so fast.”
From frail to strong,
Kristi has nothing with that is wrong!
Who says girls do not have game,
Look at this girl, she got so much fame!!
There are also other great girl players!
Tennis was played by a star name Billy Jean
Some great games of soccer were played by Kristine.
There are lots of other girls that play sports with a ball.
There are soooo many more... I can’t count them all!
I know these girl DO have game,
I also know that I can do the same!
